What a Great place to spend an evening!

Saturday, March 24, 2007
My family just spent a long weekend in Glenwood Springs, for our childerens Spring Break, And WOW did we have a great time! The natural hot springs pool was amazing. But best of all, was our dinner at the Buffalo Valley! The owner/chef, prepred a Srimp Scampi, tableside, which our kids thought was the greatest!it was delicious! My husband had the Prime rib, which he said was the Best he ever had, and trust me, he knows his Prime rib! We were pleasently surprised with the prices aswell. All the prices include a huge salad bar, plus two sides. All for really resonable prices. No more of the ala carte pricing. The chef, which we came to learn is from Switzerland, and was very personable and friendly. He knew most of all the costumers by name and greeted and said good night to each and everyone of them.( if he wasn't doing his tableside cooking.) The locals obviously come back not just for the food but also his charm. We had such a great evening there! With the pool and the Buffalo Valley, We all can't wait for our next trip to Glenwood Springs!!!!!! Pros: Great menu, something for everyone! You have your chioce of a romantic setting area,or The Fun western log cabin setting. Cons: We can't eat there everyday. (we live in Denver)
