Quiet and Cozy

Thursday, February 15, 2007
Took a date here last fall. The restaurant is built into a traditional Federal Hill type townhouse. The dining area was relatively small but very open. It had a very modern feel to it. A lot of glass and chrome. The kitchen was viewable to all. Service was ok. Good, but nothing spectacular. The menu is quite unique compared to what you would see at most restaurants in the area. My date and I split the fresh tuna, which was very good. First time I ever tried raw fresh. I had the lamb, which was roasted. It was good, but again nothing spectacular. Desert was excellent. Overall the best part of the meal was the ambience. Quiet & cozy. Including appetizers, 2 entrees, 1 desert and a bottle a wine, it came out to around $150 including tax and tip.
