I should've known - this place had good ratings and reviews but they're all outdated. Here's a recent one for you. I always go to Sushi Zushi so my boyfriend and I decided to try someplace new. When you walk in, you sit yourself - which I didn't mind. A first glance at the menu may appear impressive because the prices are below average. I had the squid seaweed salad for an appetizer which was very good. After that, I was served miso soup and salad which was unexpected but a delight. However, the soup was very bland. This was the start of the downhill. Our rolls came out along with the nigiri order and hand rolls. The fish is not fresh and there is way too much rice in the rolls which makes you full off of the rice and not the fish. It was nothing what I expected based on the reviews I read. When we were done eating, we waited and waited for our waiter to come by to give us our check (who by the way, never came by to check up on us during our meal). The food made us very sleepy so when we got home, we knocked out and fell asleep. This makes me believe they may put preservatives in their fish! It could have also been the packing of the rice in our rolls. I give it a 2 because if all you care about is the price and not at all about the quality and taste of the fish & food, you should definitely come here.
