I lived in Austin for almost 7 years and had not found a bbq place that had what I would call decent bbq. Finally, I have found THE place. Mr. Bones BBQ has great smoky bbq that is well seasoned with well blended sauce to go with it. While he sells brisket, for the first time I have a choice other than brisket. I had never had it before, but the smoked pork roast was so good that it will make you want to shout! It is also very tender. I have had everything on menu except the beans (I don't eat them) and there is nothing I didn't like. He even smoked my Thanksgiving hens and will be doing my Christmas meats.
