My boyfriend and I dined there last night, and though the food was excellent, the service both at the bar and in the dining room was amateur. It was more than 5 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us, and another 5 minutes before he returned to take our drink orders. The bar was not overly busy, and in fact, 2 gentlemen standing next to us also commented to one another that the service was really slow. \r

So onto dinner . . . . our regular waiter, David, who is exceptional, was not available. Instead, we were treated to a most distasteful experience. Our waitress was scatter-brained taking our drink and dinner orders. My boyfriend ordered his fish without pico de gallo and specifically asked her to ensure it was left off the plate. The fish was covered in pico. After enjoying a nice glass of wine, she asked whether I wanted another. 10 minutes elapsed and still no wine. When asked about the wine, she seemed perplexed. But then she quickly recovered by saying ""oh, well there's a bottle neck at the bar tonight."" There were only 4 flies at the bar!\r

Normally we would have stayed for dessert, but we couldn't wait to see the valet attendant. We even left most of the second glass of tardy wine on the table. Bummer, that was good wine! We'll definitely be back, but only with assurances of sitting in David, or some our other favorite's sections.
Pros: Most of the usual wait-staff, i.e. David, garlic bread, location, prompt seating.
Cons: Pricey entrees, average wine list, untrained wait- staff (some of them).
