The "refurbished" vac I bought at Fixavac is a real lemon. Beware of the sign that says "no returns on refurbished items". He really means it, though to call what I bought refurbished is a stretch.\r \r In the month after I bought it I visited him 3 times:\r \r 1: The motor burnt out and was replaced.\r 2: The switch to turn the self-propelled feature on and off stopped working. He "fixed" it but it still does not click.\r 3: The unit motor started overheating and would then stop. He said this was because the bag was too full.\r \r At this point I asked for a refund and was flatly refused.\r \r Since then it has developed a problem of the belt for the rug beater falling off the motor shaft. It appears as if the motor shaft is too short, probably because the motor is the wrong type or it is improperly installed.\r \r It still can't be used for more than 10 minutes or so without getting scary hot.\r \r I won't even waste my time asking him to look at it.\r \r There is a difference between a refurbished more
