After Yellow Cab failed to pick me up at the reserved time (see yellow cab review for details), I tried United taxicab. The operator informed me that there was a cab on their way and would take about 7 minutes to reach me. When 10 or 15 minutes came and went I called them back and the second operator informed me that the cab driver told her he went to my residence but nobody was there. I told her, between sobs because yellow cab had already screwed me over with my schedule, that this was a lie because I had been waiting outside my residence praying for someone to come and get me, but there had been no one. The operator was very sweet and applogized, she said she would send another car. As far as I know, no car ever showed up at my residence. I had to take the bus at 6:22, when my job call was at 6AM. And I was an hour and a half late. Unlike Yellow Cab, the operators were friendly and as helpful as they could be sitting in an office with no control over their drivers, but the drivers were obviously inconsiderate liars.
Pros: The operators are nice. But that doesn't get you picked up.
Cons: Nobody came to pick me up.
