I recently moved to town and went to see Dr. Kanipa as a family member recommended me. I took my 1 yr. old baby to get neutured. I picked him up later in the afternoon and received no explanation of the service and what they have done, what I should do. I decided to asked and Dr. Kanipa went to the bathroom right behind me saying nothing, his assistant said just go about a normal day. I asked about the stiches and she said it was self absorbed. Just 2 days later my puch developed a bad rash, I had to take him in again, Dr. Kanipa gave him a shot and again no explanations why it happen or if I should follow. Turns out the stiches were never self absorbed, and my puch developed Kennel Cough! from bacteria in his practice. I will never trust them with any of my pets again, now I make the trip to South Congress Vet Clinic in Austin.
