I agree that it was expensive to see this dr. My insurance denied my claims for pre-existing and he billed me the amount billed to insurance. I called his biller and explained that an insurance co. would not have even paid him the full amount billed after the contractual adjustments. She later called back and stated he does not offer private pay discounts and discounted the bill by $30.63. All I have to say is wow....now I only owe him $562.37 three visits later. I would rather deal with my allergies then worry about debt.
