We gave this tavern a few chances. But I must admit, after experiencing dinner and service at some of center city's best BYOs and other sophisticated restaurants alike, this place is what it is. On at least two occasions, when we had asked the server for something, i.e. a refill, they repsonded with a sigh which came across as if they found us annoying. One evening, we were the only table in the dining room and waited over 15 minutes for the server to take our order. When we motioned to her that we were ready, she barked, ""IN A MINUTE!"" It's a shame, because the food is quite good. But good food tastes better with friendly service.
