Poor window tinting. 10/29/2007

The dealer I bought my SUV from, took it to these guys to have it tinted and an alarm installed.\r \r The alarm install was just fine, no problems, BUT!!\r \r The tint job just sucKed !! I wanted it removed so I could go some where else. Well OK against my better judgement, I let them redo it at the request of the aftermarket person at the dealer. When one of the guys brought it out to me he proceeded to show me that the door handle was broken on the driver?s door(interior). ""It must be a warranty problem"". Yea right, it was not broken when I got out of the vehicle to have them redo the first tint job. The second attempt to re-tint my SUV was also a failure, large dust between the film and window and the film was cut to short at the bottom and top, leaving gaps on top and bottom. NOT EXCEPTABLE!\r \r The dealer is refunding my money (check is in the mail), I will go to someone that I know can do a quality job.\r \r I am not a newbie to the aftermarket equipment including tinting, I have sold these things in the past, and as of right now and the past 7 years, I am a vendor on several other auto dealer lots working on new and used vehicles.\r \r New car buyers would like their autos looking good when it is new, including alarms, sound equipment, tinting and so on....\r \r Becareful if using these guys.\r \r \r \r \r Pros: none, your only a number, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for them. Cons: bad tempered. they play the odds on how many will really complain. more
