I was interested in Pomodoro because at the time it had 100% positive reviews. My friend and I walked in off the street on a rainy Thursday night so there were only two other parties there, with a total of three other tables open. We were seated by the window with a full view of the kitchen. The place is very small, but not crowded. The host/server was very polite and friendly and courteous. The EVOO tasted like the oil I tasted in Tuscany, and the bread was delicious and crusty but fluffy. The fried calamari is the best I've ever had, with the sweet plum tomato sauce on the side topped with fresh herbs and lemon. I had a White Clam sauce pasta dish and my companion had a Cod Fillet dish, both were extremely generous portions and full of flavor. They served the perfect al dente pasta, with the best white sauce. And I know the person who makes the food, loves food and cares about it, because if you look up after you take your first bite, he is watching you to make sure it's the best food you ever had and it probably will be. Thank you for a delicious meal!! I almost forgot, their house red wine, was very nice, ready to drink - don't be afraid to order it! Our server was very attentive and I'd recommend this place to anyone!
