I went to Joey Thai for pickup pad thai and pad kee mao since it's right around the corner from my friend's place. The place wasn't too pretty (acceptable, but not really a place you'd choose for the ambience), but the noodles were quite good. Also ordered the crab dumplings (hoi jor), which i'd never had before, but they looked a lot like the tod mun pla (fish cakes) i'd had in the past. Crispy, good. Nothing exceptional, but reliable, tasyt, and i'd order from here again. If you want another low key thai joint in the 30s to dine in at, try Pad Thai on 8th/31st.
