I went to Cutting Image per a recommendation of a friend of mine that goes there, and I was very pleased! Great little east village spot! I couldn't get in with her stylist, Lisa, so I was with Nikki for my cut and Melissa did my highlights. I had to wait a few minutes because they were running behind, but I didn't mind waiting and relaxing with a great glass of wine after work! They both gave me exactly what I was looking for, nice, natural looking highlights and an updated new cut, but not too edgy! (ps.I've been to some of the big name salons before in city where they went crazy with the razor and didn't listen to what I wanted at all!) I finally found a place where they really LISTEN to what YOU want!
Pros: great stylists/colorists, free wine and open late
Cons: small waiting area, but seems typical of east village!
