I newly relocated to the Summerlin area and was looking for a place to get my hair done..I had light blonde highlights over light brown hair, and wanted go to all blonde which I have done countless times in the past. ..SO I made and appointment for color and cut which was suppose to run around 125 plus tip I got to the salon checked in and it seemed like I found a nice place to get my hair done. During the "consultation" the sylist stated she may not be able to get it exactly how I wanted it so I said ok just please make sure my roots DO NOT TURN ORANGE and the response was "that should not happen, but we will have to use 2 different colors to acheive what you want. After application of the dye she then notified me that there will be an extra charge for the 2 colors and toner.. Fast foward to rinse/cut/style everythign looked good I then went to check out and was given a check for 230 DOLLARS ..a little more than I expected, but I paid and left. 2 days passed and my boyfriend came home from work one night and asked if I noticed the orange stripe down the middle of my head (OF COURSE I HAD, but I thought maybe it isn't as bad as I think..well he never notices ANYTHING!)
So I made a trip back to the salon and the manager kindly refunded my money (didn't expect that, I just wanted it fixed) and a new appointment. Went to the neww appointment and they decided that zonal highlights should fix it...I'm convinced it was just a ploy and they put a placebo on my hair because it looks horrible and like nothing changed..oh and she said that she didn't want to use toner because the ends might soak it up too much WELL could it have not been place on the hair that was just supposedly fixed? I now have orange roots and what may pass for blonde highlight on top of toned hair! The best part about this is I have a wedding to be in next week and have no idea what I'm going to do..I don't want to keep putting it through processing. I HOPE THIS KEEPS ANOTHER FORM THE SAME MISTAKE!
