Lincoln Park's Crown Jewel

Thursday, January 04, 2007
The "Pig" as DePaul students affecionately call it is one of this neighborhood's best kept secrets. It's a small cafe in an antique Lincoln Park house with loyal, regular customers that keep coming back for the amazing menu and atmosphere that is truly one-of-a-kind! Dilectable gourmet homemade sandwiches, soups, salads, great breakfast items, ice creams, a treasure trove of homemade baked goods, an enormous list of gourmet teas, and of course, great coffee are what keep this place in business. During the quiet periods, it's a great place to relax with a coffee and a book, and if you don't have your own to read, they have shelves stocked with them. It's often busy, but never too crowded, and even when it's busy, the service is still great and not too slow. This place is a must for anyone who enjoys a genuine and unique experience with great food! Pros: Atmosphere and Food Cons: None
