Read this review - they insulted us in another language and though we didn't understand!

So, I was really excited to bring my friends to Turkuaz to sample the Turkish cuisine. The whole table ordered Iskender on our recommendation. The food was rather cool and lacked the taste we're used to. Totally Americanized - Iskender should be served on a metal platter with bubbling sauce and this was a bland recreation for ignorant tourists or something. But the service was a DISGRACE. The rude ignorant waitress got annoyed with us because she was scheduled to go home and wanted the checked paid. So, before we were even finished, she asked us to pay. And then she walked over the other table and insulted us in Turkish. Too bad for her my fiance speaks fluent turkish and chewed her out from top to bottom. All she had to say for herself was that she wasn't a rude person but she called us stupid Americans! And at this table were 5 doctors! Then, we noticed that they had included a 20% grituity on their check when they said 6 or more grituity included. On top of that, we had called to confirm their bellydancing show earlier that day and they said "sure, the show is tonight at 10 pm!" Then, when we arrive, they said that the show had been cancelled for weeks because it was Labor Day weekend. This restaurant STINKS and I will never go back nor recommend it to my worst enemy. Go to Alibaba, Turkish Kitchen, or Beyoglu instead. This dump is NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR DOLLAR.
Pros: If you're dying in the desert from starvation, Turkuaz's pitiful food will sustain you so you can survive.
Cons: Terrible service, below average food, rude waitstaff
