My mom came in to order a dress, the saleslady/owner measured her & said that if she goes with a certain size, she will need limited, if any alterations done at all. The dress came in & it was drastically too big. They would not send it back to get the correct size b/c they said when my mom signed the contract it stated no returns, exchanges, or refunds. (She had to sign the contract before they ordered the dress & she believed the saleslady - that it would come in the right size) So my mom got alterations done there b/c they said she would get a discount since we got our bridesmaid dresses through them. After that it was a nightmare: my mom went in for her 1st fitting & they measured & pinned. She came for her 2nd fitting & it came from being too big to being too tight. She came back for her final fitting & they installed (without asking her) two bra cups & when she put the dress on, the cups were way above her breasts (it looked like she had 2 pairs of breasts). She came in for her 2nd final fitting & they removed the cups, but the sleeves were too tight. Her 3rd final fitting: there was missing material from under her armpits. Her 4th final fitting: the back was too tight. My mom went in for her 5th final fitting & it fit her but was not pressed so she waited 1 & 1/2 hours for them to press it. We told the store that the wedding was 1 week before the actual wedding, & good thing we did b/c the 4th final fitting was scheduled on the ""night before the wedding"" (according to them) & it still was not ready. Instead of getting a discount for all our trouble they charged us more $ for their mistakes. The dress ended up costing more than the bride's dress.
