Ok, so I have enjoyed this pub in the past, but tonight had an experience that will make it very hard for me to return. \r

After the Bite of Wallingford, a girlfriend and I stopped in for a beer. One of the barkeeps (a large blond), after ignoring us for quite some time was very rude. After finally deciding to wait on us, she wanted to see our IDs. Unfortunately, I had a purse-swapping exchange mishap and told her that I was sorry I didn't have mine. Her sharp, unneccessarily rude response was, ""Well you can't be in here then!"" and stormed off. Now we are both nearing our 30s, and I understand if we can't be served, but I would've returned with my ID had she just said she needed it. Instead, we decided we didn't need a beer there anyway.\r

So, if you can put up with rude bartenders who will ignore you even on slow nights, this bar will work for you. We won't be returning....
Pros: good brews-- if you can get one......
