My wife and I recently decided to escape the Arizona summer heat for a few days. We were looking for some place cool, in a natural setting where we could enjoy the outdoors. Of course we wanted to be pampered and on top of everything else, we wanted it all at a reasonable cost. Two days before we were scheduled to go, we still had not found the ""ideal"" spot, when I saw the website for L'Auberge. The first hint of the wonderful weekend to come was Nancy's cheery voice as she took our reservation. The second was her anouncement that she would have the bubbly on ice for our arrival.
