Okay, we took my brother into the City to ""show off"" San Francisco, and decided to stop into this place on a whim--hoping for some good, authentic Italian food. The menu looked promising and wasn't too pricey. Boy, were we disappointed. Initially they seated us right in front of the door, but the *cold* breeze blowing in the open door made us very uncomfortable so we asked to be reseated. . . when the waiter finally showed up to our table, that is. They put us upstairs, which was actually kind of cute (in a tacky way). Then we ordered our appetizer and three entrees. Lots of people who were seated after us were served before us. Then it became clear why--the waiter forgot about our appetizer and served the entrees first. When we asked him about it he apologized, and said he would take it off the bill. However, when the bill came, we still got charged for it! In addition, the portions were *tiny.* I ordered the gnocchi in gorgonzola cream sauce for $17.00 and only got a small plate full. It tasted alright, but I really thought it was an awful portion for the price, considering it had no meat in it. Similarly, my husband's and brother's portions were tiny for the price and didn't even taste good. With all of the amazing Italian restaurants in SF, this one doesn't even deserve to be in business. Skip it!
