Tealeaf salad rocks!

Thursday, September 14, 2006
Went to this place last night with a friend who is a regular. She told me nothing about it, but just started secretly ordering food of the menu. Every single thing was TO DIE FOR. Tea leaf salad was my fave, but other highlights were the Catfish Chowder (Moh Hinga), Beef Kebat, Coconut Rice and the Burmese Samusas (no, not samOsas, samUsas...similar, but still oh so delish). The ginger beer was nice, as well, but I also had the Lychee Julep (more like a mojito with lychee in it for a nice sweet aroma) and tasted the Mango Tango. Go and go early since the don't take reservations and I heard it gets insane there. And, if you still have room left, they have nice desserts, as well. Mmmm...coconut lovers dream. Pros: Everything, no seriously, TEA LEAF salad Cons: No reservations
