Blackbeard's was highly recommended, so we were VERY disappointed in the food on 8-19-06. Everything was served lukewarm. The mashed potatoes were INSTANT. The fried entrees most certainly had been frozen then reheated--tasteless, dry, tough, chewy batter--even on the onion ring. It was the worst food I've ever paid to eat! We each ate maybe half, or less, of what was on our plates and then left. Worst of all, soon thereafter, 5 of the 7 in our party became violently ill with the full range of best-not-described intestinal ailments. We can't prove it, but we are positive we got sick from that awful meal at Blackbeards. We'll never go back there again!
