F****ing amazing!! I have only eaten here twice (so many places to eat, plus fav's, plus cooking at home!), and each time blew me away. First meal: venison medallions, chive spaetzle, lingonberry sauce, carrot puree. The venison was flavorful without being gamey, the spaetzle was good (I suspect they have an honest-to-god spaetzle maker), and the lingonberry sauce reminded me how unerused this ingredient is. If anything, give the sauce more zip with the lingonberries. Second meal...foie gras heaven!!! My wife and I must have sub-consciously known the ban was going into effect because it was everywhere: seared and plated in the scrumptiously sweet corn soup; rolled in my lamb, rolled in her duck; seared and served with her duck; I almost ordered a second round of the soup for desert! But seriously, these two entrees show one (and there are many) of the strengths of May Street: the lamb was served three ways (chops, roulade, and an amazing shredded lamb wonton); the duck was served multiple ways (rare breast; roulade; one I am forgetting; along with the seared foie gras). Really, these entrees blew away the typically entree (including the incredibly mediocre prix fix Valentine's Day menu at Bin 36 which featured a similar duck item). All in all, this place is a welcome addition to my burgeoning "West Town," and has slightly better food, but not quite as good of wine as the West Town Tavern. Pros: Food, parking, food Cons: The chocolate torte is overdressed more
