aspires to, but misses

Monday, July 24, 2006
This cafe has real French bistro ambience and just the right amt of bustle. Service is fine. Unfortunately one is underwhelmed by the food. Duck confit was not true confit. Steak tartare generous portion was sadly bland. Cheese plate with only 3 cheeses *that was OK*, but postage stamp amount for $12, is not OK. Very noisy. There are better places, altho the Market location is nice. Pros: location Cons: food, high priced wine, noise
