Good for Chinatown, but not Great

Friday, June 02, 2006
This restaurant came highly recommended by our concierge at the Marriott, and when I saw all the reviews plastered on the walls on the way in, I was very excited. The restaurant is clean, the service is good, and considering the other options I saw in Chinatown, this might be a great restaurant in the area; however, I didn't find the food to be any better than your average neighborhood Chinese restaruant. We ordered a few pieces of Dim Sum before the meal, and it was excellent so I would recommend it for that, but our two entrees were well below expectations. We got the Almond/Cashew Chicken, and a "spicy" beef noodle dish, both of which were bland and of poor quality. Just get the Dim Sum and forget the main dishes. Pros: Clean, Good Service Cons: Bland, Poor quality meat
