Every time we go Zuni we wonder why we subject ourselves to it. We are experienced diners but we are not snobs. The service at Zuni is slow, surly and nonchalant. I asked for some lemons - they came to the table wrapped up in a paper napkin. Our water & tea were never refilled. The food is mediocre at best. We waited 30 minutes for our check. After 20 minutes, I went inside to look for our waiter who was not to be found. Asked someone to get our check for us then we waited another 10 minutes. No apologies, no effort to appease us. There are too many other restaurants in San Francisco that are so much better and less expensive. We will never return to Zuni.
