I have a ring from Blue Nile but have to resize the ring to a smaller size so I brought it to Shane Co. The guy on the sales floor said resizing the ring will compromise the ring's integrity. He could have stopped there, but he didn't. He went on and said that is what happens when you buy something from internet; that's fine he said that. However, he definitely stepped over the line when he said that with MAJOR ATTITUDE with huge smirk on his face like the ring is cheap when the ring was appraised by other jewelers for really good quality & 5-digit price tag. I also brought the ring to Tiffany's and asked the same question, and even salesperson and customer service rep recognized the quality of this ring; they *politely* informed me that they can't resize the ring but did recommand the best solution is to have where I got the ring (Blue Nile) do the job to ensure the integrity of the ring.\r \r It seems like this salesperson in Shane Co will only be nice to you when they make a chunk of more
