i've been coming here for years on dates and when my parents visit. when you can get seat (it gets busy on weekends and the space is on the small side) you just can't have a better ny bar experience. the prosciuto panini with mushroom and truffles is to die for. the wine is always fabulous and the staff - decked out in suits and ties - is courteous and professional. there aren't a lot of places women can go for a quiet drink and conversation and not feel weird or have guys bothering you, but thank god this is one of them. bar veloce rocks.
