After talking to the owner via phone, my visiting mother and I decided on Kanani for some relaxation. We arrived and were told curtly we were early, then taken to a small room to wait (no lockers or robes?). After my massage, covered in oil, I was told to get dressed. I had to request a robe and shower. We were told to have a ""quick one"" then hurried into a small bathroom with no lotions, hair products or hairdryer to use (this was a cold March day)! When leaving, we felt rushed, wet, and anything but relaxed and were never asked about our experience. We wrote an e-mail explaining why we felt mislead. The response was curt and dismissive saying they were not a day spa (despite was their website claims). I have been to other spas in Portland and will stick with places that value their customer's experience.
Cons: unfriendly, hurried, poor value
