Over hyped but still a good meal

I think it's best i preface this review by saying I'm more of a casual fella. Dressing up for me involves some khaki's and a polo shirt. Canlis is not the place for you if you can't seem to figure out how a sports jacket makes a steak taste better.
Their wine steward/selection was simply unmatched from my experience locally. But the wagyu was acceptable, seasoning was absent, texture was good, nothing to write home about. My friends filet mignon had a chunk of gristle in the middle. Service was amazing. Many better choices for steak locally.

Cons: over hyped, dress code, stuffy
