Heavy-handed cooking, all-American desserts

Friday, March 17, 2006
Unremarkable restaurant serving heavy-handed interpretations of classic French bistro fare in an uninspired ambience. Desserts, despite French names appear to resemble those found at American casual chains like Applebee's or TGI Friday's. Signature chocolate souffle presentation was closer to lava cake -- with an unmelted chocolate center! I would not go out of my way to visit this restaurant again. Pros: Spacious, Quick turnaround Cons: Heavy-handed cooking, Skimpy portions, Uninspired ambience
