This pizza is horrible and outrageously priced. The crust appeared to be almost entirely semolina, dense and weighty. The sauce was too salty and tasted as though it came from a can and was laden with preservatives. No freshly crushed tomatoes here, which one would expect for the price paid. ($13-20). The cheese which was of a better quality, buttery and fibrous, went entirely to waste on this awful pie. I'm not sure if it was the price or the ambiance of the restaurant but I expected the pizza to be cooked in a brick oven. However this was not the case, one of the staff actually informed me that they cook the pizzas in an old cookie oven.
The wait staff was very friendly and efficient. The atmopshere was homey and warm. But the pizza was no good. Avoid this pretentious and overly priced pizzeria like the plague.
