About 10 years ago, I visited Pasta Mia with my mom, back when it was in a little house with just a few tables. The homemade gnocchi were to die for; the place was cozy, and the prices were so reasonable... we felt we had made an incredible find. Fast-forward about 10 years... Pasta Mia is in a huge house, split into pizzaria and restaurant. We walked in, hungry and in love, and were ignored for a good 10 minutes while we stood by an empty host station. The house is a cool house but cavernous and loud. We finally were seated and given the WEIRDEST service by the harried waiter, who didn't have time for us all evening but apparently thought his smarmy sliminess was charming. The food was good, the wine was good, but the coffee was dismal and we were ignored. The place has lost its charm.
Pros: Wine, gnocchi
Cons: Expensive, Rude service, No charm
