Too cool for its customers

i was disturbed by the utter lack of customer service at uncommon ground. two of us went for dinner on a quiet saturday and were absolutely invisible to the bartenders and waiters. instead, they preferred busywork, private conversations with friends who came to visit, or the band. the french onion soup and chili came out cold. not lukewarm--cold. i sent it back asking for a hot bowl of soup. the second bowl also came out cold. on the 3rd try, my waiter delivered hot soup with an attitude, as though i should dare expect a $7 bowl of soup to be hot. the kitchen had no problems cooking my burger--it came out medium well when i asked for mediumrare. all this for $80?? no thanks. i will tell everyone i know to avoid this place.
