As a person who loves dining in NYC, I LOVED Il Buco... It is amazing - great service, fabulous food, wonderful wine! The ambiance is so terrific - upstairs is a great dining room and downstairs the wine cellar feels so old world and romatic. The temp is a little colder downstairs since it is a wine cellar, so I would keep that in mind if you get cold quickly or are a girl with clothes ont he mind:) Eating in the cellar is a surreal experience - the city just disappears and you feel like you are in a diff world. We had a drink afterwards upstairs at the bar and the bartender was great as were the people who were sitting at the area. Loved the experience and the fact that Edgar Allen Poe was inspired to write "The Cask of Amontillado" was jsut a bonus :)
