Bring a food dictionary
Saturday, December 02, 2006
I should have listened to the majority of the reviews in this section and gone elsewhere. Bring a food dictionary if there is one out there, you will need it to get through the menu to figure out what you are going to be eating. The menu was impossible for my wife and I, as well as others, to understand what came with the dishes. Several people, including us had to ask the waiter what everything meant.
The food was okay, nothing spectacular, especially for the prices they charge! I have had much better for less money. I had the rib eye steak that was good but not "brilliant" as I was told it would be. The red wine sauce that came with it had no flavor. My wifes meal was, as well, okay. She had the duck and again, nothing out of the ordinary.
The desert was unusual but good. Worth $11.00, no. Don't plan on sharing it, there is not much there
The service was better. The waiter answered all of our questions and was extremely friendly and outgoing. He did seem to push the items that were the more expensive on the menu though.
Overall for the quality of the food, my wife and I felt it was extremely overpriced. I have eaten at restaurants with these kind of prices and had much better meals! I would not recommend this restaurant.
Pros: Staff was nice.
Cons: Average food, OVERPRICED
