I have been here twice. Interior, IMHO, is pretty cool although the building is kinda small.
Service), once you get upstairs, is average. We had to wait despite the list we were on AND the fact that the door manager was a friend's friend (who, in his defense, was told to just not let anyone in for 15 minutes - we heard another suited gentleman from inside tell him. Of course once we got upstairs it was empty. Not sure owners realize that I can't give them money for booze if I am standing out in the cold. JFC). Drinks were expensive, but one wouldn't go to a place like that and expect moderately priced drinks, much less cheap ones.
People) we're a hodge podge. I ran into some Michigan Avenue Coach store manager (that's what she said, but who knows) whose pretension I would've accepted if she had been more than a 6. I guess at the end of the night the place filled up and there were some decent women, but nothing to write home about.
Music) was TERRIBLE, although I am one of those who, if he hears Pour Some Sugar On Me, am instantly turned off.
Overall) I would go back there if there was a group of people going - guys and girls - but I wouldn't show up there with one or two buddies hoping to drink, meet a future ex-girlfriend, and have a great time. Like I said, "meh..."
Pros: Interior is nice...
Cons: ...just stop trying so hard.
