It's far from the best, but in Vegas, I'm afraid that's all you've got... 11/24/2006

Did the place serve authentic ramen? Yes, it did. What's the problem then? Most of the food they serve you could buy from the Japanese supermarket (in L. A.) and duplicate it at home, if not better. There's no personality or added value to the food. Simple home made food sold at a restaurant. Nothing to be excited about. I simply cannot remember there was one single dish that I would like to eat again. The cha-shu was blend and the bamboo shoots, instead of the sauteed dyhydrated type, was straight out of a can. The all important soup stock was definitely uneventful. However, in the absence of better competition in Vegas, this place would do. It's no wonder that they do have many Japanese eating there, but this restaurant would not last more than 2 months in Los Angeles. Pros: Authentic Japanese Ramen Cons: Very very ordinary more
