Stubbs has made a name for itself with its sauce. The restaurant has turned into corporate HQ, and actually serves as a much more reputable concert venue than eatery. The portions are less than expected from a Texas BBQ joint, and the prices are more like a sit down Italian meal than a down home picnic table place. The food isn't terrible, but it's probably about the 8th or 9th best BBQ joint in Austin...at best.
Pros: Cool ambience, good downtown location
Cons: Way overpriced and food is only average.
