Clearly Mountain Charley's has cornered the market on places with a dancefloor in the LG area, at least judging by the high prices and the crowd of people willing to pay them. An $8 cover to get into an overcrowded bar where I have to fight to get a drink and where people constantly shove into me when I'm trying to dance to mediocre DJ music? Hmmm. If you're in the mood for that sort of scene I suppose it's fun, and it's the kind of place filled with people from ages 21 to 51 so just about everyone fits in... Just go in knowing what to expect.
Pros: always has a big crowd of party people, parking is usually easy
Cons: expensive cover/ drinks for a divey bar, crowd can be overwhelming
