I'm so surprised by some of the negative reviews about Gnocchi. I went last night and it was wonderful! I called ahead and was told on a Thursday night for two people that we didn't need a reservation. We were seated right away. The decor is low key but charming, the servers are authentically Italian and very pleasant. The frutti de mare was lovely and fresh, but the highlight was definitely the gnocchi....it was amazingly light and delicious. The prices were great too, especially since it's a BYOB. Our server encouraged us to take our time with our wine and our check. It's also a nice change from some other Philly BYOBs in that you're not sitting on top of your neighbor...there's plenty of space in between the tables. I'll definitely go back!
