We decided to try The Theatre Cafe during the holidays as we were seeing a show-it's in the Denver Performing Arts Complex-so convenient.
As soon as we walked in the door it felt good. Romantic ambiance/everyone genuinely interested in making sure our experience was good. In a nutshell- great. We had one of their specialty martinis before dinner-yummy. Service-very professional, food delicious. The crabcakes-best I've had. My husband had french onion soup-delicious. The prime rib-was smoked and tender; we'll be back for that. The lamb melted in my mouth-incredible. (There were no worries about making it to the show on time.) We were too full for dessert but came back after the show for a brandy and the biggest piece of chocolate cake I have ever seen. It was a perfect evening for us and really put us in the holiday spirit. We will be back.
Pros: live dinner music, good parking, perfect location
