I originally posted a not-so-nice review of EQ3 because I had had a difficult time with a furniture delivery, which was mostly just due to misunderstanding between both parties. The manager actually ended up giving me 50% off the dresser, which was a very nice deal and nice thing to do. I avoided the store for a while, then I had an issue with two of the drawers breaking in the dresser I bought. A little nervously, I went back to the store and spoke with the same manager. Even though my dresser was no longer under warranty and I am sure he didn't have very fond memories of me as a customer (!), the manager of the store was extremely gracious. He put me in direct contact with his warehouse, where I was able to drop the drawers off. A repairman fixed them there in less than 4 hours. I was very impressed. I had been expecting to go into the store and be told never to come back! So... please do check out EQ3. They are back on my list of very cool places to shop in Charlotte; definitely the most chic furniture store I have seen around here. And after what we went through at first, I can truly say their customer service level is now classy.
