Best French Onion Soup

Another chain restaurant and yet, not just any chain restaurant! I adore Mimi's, their food is always wonderful to me.
I have been to a lot of actual french restaurants and had thier French Onion Soup but for my money Mimi's still has the best!
I always go and get the soup and half cobb salad and am stuffed by the time I leave...and that is usually WITHOUT eating the huge muffin that comes with it. (I save it for my boyfriend for a snack!) Breakfast is also wonderful and their salmon is delicious. Save room for dessert!
I typically eat at the Alta Arden location but find that Mimi's are consistently good anywhere you go.
Pros: French Onion Soup, Bread and Muffins, Huge salads
