Cheap, but far from luxury by Jennifer W. at InsiderPages

The Farrington Inn is not a place you want to take your husband or wife for your honeymoon. It is however one of, if not the cheapest place to stay in the Boston area. While I've heard horror stories of rats and other creepy crawlies, I never experienced anything bad during my stay, except the occasional loud, drunken college student swaying by on his way home. The room wasn't sparkling by any means, but there was a bed and a bathroom, all you really need. The Farrington is your best bet if you want to save your money for all of the other fun things Boston has to offer.
PROS: Close to the T stop, cheap
CONS: Bare bones accomodations
