Laguna Hills Lodge is conveniently located and is relatively inexpensive. It definitely has that motel feel with the drab carpets, but the room has a fridge, a microwave, and a little pantry (called the micro-fridge as a unit) which is nice.
PROS: feels like a motel
CONS: has a fridge, pool, hot tub
