Don't order the beef

Monday, June 13, 2005
Have been here several times. Salmon, chicken, salads, enchiladas are all good. This time (June 12) I wanted steak. Waiter recommended the carne asada, which I ordered medium rare. It came medium well. By the time I got the attention of the waiter and he took it back to have it re-cooked, everyone else was done with their meal. So I asked him to just box it up (it never made it to the table). When I opened it the next night for dinner, it was a different (cheaper, smaller) cut of meat, butterflied and cooked well/burnt. Apparently they don't understand the word "rare" in the kitchen. Stick with the non-beef items and you'll be happy. Pros: Drinks (margs), Ambiance, Most food Cons: Beef dishes
