go here once a year

Sunday, June 05, 2005
If you have over $150 to spend once a year on dinner for two, try Morton's. I had fish, my spouse had the porterhouse; both were tasty. The atmosphere was classy, but the tables were very close together. Plan on being a part of your neighbor's conversation because you're almost sitting at the same table. The service was fair - expect the waiter look down his nose at you, especially if you ask for (ouch) steak sauce or if you have special needs like no butter. They don't like to work too hard for their tip, they just expect it because they know they're getting one regardless. But overall the dining experience was quite nice. Food was good, wine was great, chocolate cake was to die for. I recommend going to Morton's in CLEVELAND, OH for a truly wonderful dining experience. Their bartenders especially were absolutely charming... make a reservation! Pros: ambiance, tasty food Cons: costly, close quarters, attitude
