If you're lucky---really, really lucky---you can catch the Virgin Mary here leaning over the bar, negotiating a succulent green burrito and washing it down with a margarita. But she will not have necessarily come for the food---which is modestly delicious and cheap---but for the atmosphere. The drink. The juke box. And the crowd, which El Myr has justly inherited from the ghosts of Atlanta's recent past: the Stein Club, the Point, Tortillas. My heart may be in Dixie, but my @ss is at El Myr.
